Antonio Ribeiro

Antonio Ribeiro has more than 25 years of experience working in a variety of financial and operating
assignments to optimize business results, with extensive experience in, and understanding of, both European and American business.

Over the last eight years he has successfully helped established a significant presence in the US for a European large manufacturing group, as CFO of the US Market, leading the accounting and finance, HR, legal and IT departments to support the different business units of the Group in the US. He also led the financial due diligence that ended in the successful sale for 2 of the US entities.

Before that, he worked for the Natural Gas Division of the largest Energy Group in Portugal, where he distinguished himself as a key figure for his role in the development and implementation of internal control systems that helped managing the financials risks involved in such large investments that were made, and in preparing the company for the challenges it had to face with the regulation of the natural gas sector followed by the process of liberalization that began in Portugal in 2006.

Antonio is a member of the Portuguese certified accountants (OTOC) and earned his university degree in business at ISAG (Porto Business School) in Porto, Portugal.
