Joe Armstrong has over thirty-five years of financial and operations experience with small to medium-sized businesses with a concentration in information technology, management consulting, real estate and government contracting.
Joe’s expertise includes sourcing and refinancing of debt, restructuring and turnarounds, asset management and strategic planning.
Joe spent more than twenty years at a systems integrator in the Washington, D.C. area as CFO and then President and Board Director. He facilitated the sale of a $200M intelligence division and the remaining $300M IT solutions business to two private-equity backed buyers. He also served as COO for a business consulting and advisory firm providing due diligence, loan support and real estate management services to government and commercial clients for over 200,000 residential and commercial assets across 80+ institutions totaling $60B in non-performing loans.
Joe believes that by building a close rapport with business owners he can become a valued advisor in helping to overcome challenges and set the stage for profitable growth.
Joe has an MBA in finance from the Wharton School and a BS in accounting and economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
Joe resides in northern Virginia and is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Wharton Club of Washington, D.C.
