Ira Polikoff has more than 20 years of C-level experience in finance, corporate strategy, business transformation, and operations. He has a proven track record of providing vision, strategy, and leadership while also consistently delivering on critical business objectives and financial targets. He has broad-based experience in financial services and workforce management, has lived and worked in both the US and UK, has managed both small and large organizations, and has successfully led global and virtual teams.
Ira spent the majority of his career with American Express where he held multiple CFO roles and was recognized for his unique mix of financial management, strategic vision, and operational experience along with his ability to build highly successful business partnerships and transform businesses. His background includes extensive experience in business continuity and turnaround scenarios having successfully led a Consumer Card business through the 2008-2009 Recession and a Business Travel organization through 9/11. He also recently completed an 18-month contract as the CFO for Pontoon Solutions, a unit of the Adecco Group, implementing a new business strategy and driving an organizational transformation for an underperforming unit.
Ira has an MBA from Columbia Business School, a BS in Economics from The Wharton School and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania. He currently resides in the New York metropolitan area with his wife and 3 children.
